Police Blotter: DUI, Traffic Arrests

The Libertyville Police Department reports arrests from May 7-12.

These incidents were among the official reports of the Libertyville Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that decision.

Alcohol

Santos Honoratio-Salgado, 41, of 18889 W. Hickory St., Mundelein, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol May 13 near Milwaukee and Park Avenues. He was also cited for driving while license suspended. He was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond pending a June 28 court date.

Karen J. Woo, 24, of 256 Nita Lane, Libertyville, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol May 12 on the 500 block of McKinley Street. She was also cited for DUI over .08, improper lane usage and failure to signal. She was released on her drivers license and a $1,000 personal recognizance bond pending a July 5 court date.

Traffic

Marilu Hernandez, 29, of 224 N. Archer Ave., Mundelein, was charged with driving while license revoked May 7 on Route 176 east of Butterfield Road. She was also cited for improper lane usage. She was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a June 12 court date.

Nancy Pagan, 49, of 909 Lowe Ave., Waukegan, was charged with driving while license revoked May 8 on Route 137 east of Milwaukee Avenue. Police said she was seen talking on her cell phone in a construction zone. She was cited for operating a wireless device in a construction/school zone and not having valid vehicle registration. She was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a March 19 court date.

Giovanni Salgado Roman, 25, of 2503 N. Austin, Chicago, was charged with driving while license suspended May 10 on the 1500 block of South Artaius. He was also cited for having unauthorized lighting on his vehicle. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a June 12 court date.

Morgan M. Steele, 19, of 4591 McClure Ave., Gurnee, was charged with driving while license suspended May 12 near Milwaukee and Newberry Avenues. She was also cited for failure to display registration. She was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a June 12 court date.
