Police Blotter: Fire Extinguishers Discharged at Moraine Apartments

The following arrest information was supplied by the Libertyville Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Fire extinguishers discharged

Fire extinguishers were discharged in a number of buildings at the Moraine East Apartments, 866 N. Milwaukee Ave. The manager of the apartments said that the damage occurred the evening of Sept. 14. No damage estimate was available.

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol

James F. Kachur, 58, 34 W. Tallgrass Court, Round Lake Beach, was charged Sept. 15 with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood-alcohol content over .08, driving without a valid driver’s license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, causing bodily harm, driving without a valid registration and illegal transportation of alcohol. He later was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and issued an Oct. 7 court date in Waukegan.

Andrew Russel Pedersen, 24, 361 Getchell Ave., Grayslake, was charged Sept. 17 with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood-alcohol content over .08, unlawful possession of cannabis, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding and improper lane use. He later was released on a $1,000 recognizance bond and issued an Oct. 17 court date in Waukegan.

Driving mishaps

Antonia Chirinos-Florez, 33, 3912 Lake Park Ave., Park City, was charged Sept. 13 with driving without a valid driver’s license and improper lane use. She later was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond and issued an Oct. 26 court date in Mundelein.

Unlawful possession of cannabis

Brandon J. O’Meany, 19, 602 Paddock Lane, was charged Sept. 18, with unlawful possession of cannabis. He later was released on a $120 personal recognizance bond and issued an Oct. 26 court date in Mundelein.
