Police Blotter: Theft at Jewel, Fight at Tommy’s
The following arrest information was supplied by the Libertyville Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Theft at Jewel-Osco
Richard Michael Grady, 59, 105 N. Second St., Libertyville, was arrested Nov. 26 on a charge of retail theft, after he admitted to stealing a bottle of liquor from Jewel-Osco, 1500 S. Milwaukee Ave. Due to a previous retail theft conviction, Grady was charged with retail theft, enhanced, a Class 4 felony. He was remanded on a $5,000 bond and issued a status hearing on Dec. 6.
Residential Burglary

Nancy S. Frane, 48, 150 E. Winchester Road, Libertyville, was charged Nov. 30 with residential burglary, theft and resisting a peace officer. Police responded to an apartment complex at 150 E. Winchester Road on a report of a dispute involving stolen items, Frane originally claimed that her money and a cellphone had been stolen. After the items were located in her apartment, Frane continued the argument and proceeded to remove an iPad from another resident’s apartment. She was arrested and later released on a $100,000 bond and issued a Dec. 14 court date.
Fight at Tommy’s Sports Bar

Tristan Adam Ray, 25, 1671 Kayla Lane, Waukegan, was charged Dec. 4 with battery after a disturbance at Tommy’s Sports Bar, 137 Lake St. The bar’s manager was attempting to usher Ray out when Ray struck him in the face. Ray later was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond and issued a Dec. 14 court date in Waukegan.
DUI
Geary A. Grange, 60, 502 Garfield Ave., Libertyville, was charged Nov. 24 with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood-alcohol content exceeding .08, and improper lane use. He later was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond and issued a Dec. 16 court date in Waukegan.
Nicole Yudys, 23, 2120 Fieldcrest Drive, Mundelein, was charged Dec. 4 with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood-alcohol content exceeding .08. She later was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond and issued a Jan. 27 court date in Waukegan.
