Police Blotter: TV, Jewelry, Purse Stolen

The following arrest information was supplied by the Libertyville Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Residential burglary

Televisions and jewelry were stolen from a home in the 200 block of Woodland Road on July 6. Police reports say the glass on the door of an enclosed porch was broken to gain entry. No estimate of loss was listed in the report.

Burglary to motor vehicle

A purse was removed from an unlocked vehicle in the 800 block of Dawes Street during the night of July 8. The vehicle was parked in the driveway at the time of the theft. The purse and its contents were valued at $1,000.

DUI

John O. Bernard, 19, 27065 N. Longwood Drive, Lake Forest, was charged July 7 with driving under the influence of drugs, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and speed. He later was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and issued an Aug. 19 court date in Waukegan.

Jason M. Konty, 23, 2331 Sarazen, Vernon Hills, was charged July 9 with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood-alcohol content over .08, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cannabis and disobeying a traffic control devise. He later was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond and issued an Aug. 5 court date in Waukegan.

Laura M. Lindgren, 23, 76 Summerhill Drive, Mundelein, was charged July 9 with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood-alcohol content over .08. She later was released on a personal recognizance bond and issued a July 29 court date in Waukegan.

Mario Navarrete, 39, 2205 N. Lawler, Chicago, was charged July 12 with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood-alcohol content over .08 and improper lane usage. He later was released after posting a $300 cash bond and issued a Aug. 5 court date in Waukegan.
