Police Blotter: Wallet Stolen From Locker; Traffic Arrests

The Libertyville Police Department reports arrests and crimes from March 11-13.

Drugs

Kevin Edward Barrett, 24, of 133 Circle Drive, Island Lake, was charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia March 13 after his vehicle was found blocking a driveway on the 1800 block of Peterson Road. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a March 25 court date.

Theft Under $300

A patron at X-Sport Fitness, 1163 S. Milwaukee Ave., reported that his wallet was taken from his locker sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., police said. The wallet contained a drivers license, three bank debit cards and $200 cash.

Traffic

Jose G. Pedroza-Garcia, 23, of 1000 E. Orchard St. No. 208, Mundelein, was charged with not having a valid drivers license March 11 near Route 137 and Milwaukee Avenue. He was also cited for operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond pending an April 17 court date.

Froylan Gonzalez, 20, of 306 W. Crystal, Mundelein, was charged with driving while license revoked March 12 near Lake Street and Milwaukee Avenue. Police said he was seen weaving in his lane of traffic on North Milwaukee Avenue. He was also cited for zero tolerance, consumption of alcohol by a minor, illegal transportation of alcohol, operating an uninsured vehicle and improper turn signal. He was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond pending a March 29 court date.

Aurora Palacios Martinez, 26, of 1605 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville, was charged with not having a valid drivers license March 13 on West Winchester Road. She was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a May 8 court date.
