Police Blotter: Warrant Arrest Following Traffic Violations

The police blotter is compiled from reports provided by the Libertyville Police Department each week. Readers are reminded that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Police stopped Waukegan resident Juan Campuzano, 25, for traffic violations on Butterfield Road, just south of Route 137 on March 12.

A records check revealed that Campuzano was wanted on a Lake County warrant for failure to appear on a drug paraphernalia charge. Police also found that Campuzano was driving with a suspended license and without insurance. He was also charged with disobeying a traffic signal and failure to yield at a left turn.

Police arrested him and towed his vehicle. He was issued a personal bond pending an April 27 court date. After processing at Libertyville Police Department, Campuzano was transported to the Lake County jail on the warrant.
