Police: Second Dragon Spa Employee Charged with Prostitution

A 41-year-old Grayslake woman was charged with one count of prostitution Jan. 18.

A second employee from Dragon Spa in Libertyville has been charged with prostitution.

Xiaohong Wu, 41, of 101 Stockton Drive, Grayslake, was charged with one count of prostitution Jan. 18, Libertyville Police Sgt. Dennis Meserve said in a press release.

According to the press release, the Libertyville Police Department received a complaint in early January from a Lake County resident who said he was propositioned while at Dragon Spa, 402 Peterson Road, Libertyville. Meserve said the complaint was investigated and a $25,000 warrant was issued for Wu.

Wu was released after posting $2,500 bond, pending a Feb. 15 court date in Waukegan.

Wu's arrest came just 10 days after one of her employees, Hong Yang, 42, of 330 W. Cermak Road, Unit C-3, Chicago, was arrested and charged with prostitution. The Jan. 8 arrest was the result of a month-long investigation between Libertyville Police and the Lake County Sheriff's Office.

Editor's Note: This story has been changed to reflect that Wu is from Grayslake, not Gurnee as previously reported.
