Why are you running?

I have a great deal of experience with the library. I love the library and the staff. I want to continue in order to keep cost to the taxpayer down while providing the best service to our patrons

In what ways would the library district benefit from your service?

My experience and knowledge of policy and budget

What is the biggest challenge the library faces and what should be done to address it?

Keeping ahead of the ever changing technical world we live in and balancing budget with service. Budget and advocacy for the taxpayer are primary

What do you think the library does well?

Cook Library District provides the best possible service to patrons. Staff and management are receptive and open to all patron suggestions. The library provides not only drive-up service but bookmobile service. We also provide shut-in service.

What should be some of the library district’s priorities over the next several years?

Budget, constant re-evaluation of technologies, meeting the needs of the diverse group of patrons in the district. Providing services for the patrons as they are identified and evaluated.

A vote for me is a promise that I will be your advocate not only in budget but in services.
