Cuneo Mansion Concert, 'Out to Lunch' This Week

Looking for something to do this week in the Libertyville area?

Here's a look at five events coming up this week:

July 10: The Libertyville Village Board will hold its regular meeting at 8 p.m. in the Village Hall Board Room. Items on the agenda include: consideration of a permit to allow the Libertyville High School Wildcat Parents Association to hold fireworks displays before the Aug. 31 and Sept. 21 football games; and consideration of a change order regarding the Milwaukee Avenue widening project.

July 11: The Cuneo Mansion will present a summer concert on the lawn at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 per car, and you can bring your own food, beverages, blankets and lawn chairs. This week's concert will feature the music of Frank Sinatra, Elvis and Neil Diamond.

July 12: MainStreet Libertyville will hold the weekly farmers market from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Church Street between Milwaukee Avenue and Brainerd Avenue. Special events at this week's farmers market include balloon sculpting, juggling and magic by R.C. Juggles from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and "Fresh Picked Stories" with the Cook Memorial Library at 10 and 11 a.m. Whitey O'Day will perform from 10 a.m. to noon.

July 13: The village of Green Oaks will hold its weekly farmers market at from 1 to 6 p.m. Lambs Farm is located near Route 176 and I-94.

July 13: will hold from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Cook Park. The New Libertyvillians will entertain the crowd, and local vendors will sell food.
