Libertyville Sports Complex to Hold Halloween Fest

The event will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 30.

“Halloween Fest” goes indoors again this year at the Libertyville Sports Complex on Tuesday Oct. 30 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. as the indoor facility will be transformed into a “family friendly” Halloween Fest with fun, games and activities for families with kids age l0 and under.

The event is presented by the Recreation & Sports Complex Department of the Village of Libertyville.

Halloween Fest 2012 at the Sports Complex will feature fun for kids including a pumpkin patch, train ride, a hay ride, inflatable and interactive games, entertainment, and the Herbie Car from the Volo Auto Museum. Children are encouraged to wear their costumes.

Advance registration is suggested and provides savings. Pre-registration cost is only $5 for kids, both residents and non­residents. Day of the event registration is $8. Adults and grandparents are free. To pre-register and for more information call (847)918-7275.

The event is sponsored by Libertyville Chevrolet, the Robot Factory, Dental Works, the Libertyville Civic Center Foundation and Lots for Tots.

The Libertyville Sports Complex is located at the corner of Peterson Road and Route 45 in northwest Libertyville. In its 10th year of operation, the Libertyville Sports Complex features an Indoor Events Center with eight basketball courts, two indoor artificial surface fields, a Fitness Center, Golf Driving Range, Party Rooms, as well as the region’s largest Climbing Mountain.
