Local Officials to Hold First 'Listening Coffee' Session Saturday

The session will be held at 10 a.m. Nov. 2 at Hansa Coffee Roasters.

Libertyville area elected officials are teaming up to offer citizens a unique opportunity to conveniently engage with their local representatives in an informal setting.

These "Listening Coffee" sessions will include a board member and/or official from local districts including the Village of Libertyville, Libertyville Elementary School District 70, and Libertyville Township. Community High School District 128 and Cook Memorial Library will participate in upcoming Listening Coffees.

The "one stop shop" nonpartisan engagement session allows residents to share their opinions on one or more topics with multiple officials. The first Libertyville Listening Coffee will be this Saturday, Nov. 2, from 10 a.m. until noon. The Listening Coffee will be held at the new Hansa Coffee Roasters located at 755 N. Milwaukee Avenue in Libertyville.
