Renovated Library a Huge Success

Cook Park Library reported high usage in January.

In January, the library reported the second highest usage in its recorded history, falling just short of the record set in July 2008. The fact that Cook Park Library was only open for three weeks in January shows how important it is to residents.

Despite some minor complaints about the drop-box and parking during peak hours, residents are ecstatic over the new space. With an expanded childrens section, seperate study rooms for teens and adults, and a quiet reading room, the new library offers something for all Libertyville residents to enjoy.
