Upgraded Commuter Parking Pay Stations Launches June 28

Five new pay stations that can handle cash, debit and credit cards, and mobile payments will start operating at Libertyville's Metra stations tomorrow.

Commuters at Libertyville’s two Metra stations will be able to enjoy upgraded parking pay stations starting Tuesday, June 28, according to village officials.

The village is investing $63,000 in five pay stations that will be able to handle cash, credit and debit card, as well as payments through a mobile application on cell phones.

The upgraded pay stations will be available at the Harris Road/Prairie Cross Metra train stations.

Representatives from Total Parking Solutions Inc., of Downers Grove, will be at the Harris Road/Prairie Crossing Metra to help users with the new systems.
