  • 12 p.m. Lake County Forest Preserve District will be hosting a seed nursery workday at Rollins Savanna in Grayslake.

  • 6 p.m. MainStreet Libertyville will be hosting a First Friday event downtown, participating businesses offer entertainment, hor d’oeuvres and more.
  • 6 p.m. The Lake County Health Department / Community Health Center is offering a free workshop to teach gardeners how to make good plant choices. The event will take place at Lake County Central Permitting Facility, Room 2220.
