Work Starts on Dymond Road Project

Workers are relocating utility poles along Dymond Road.

As part of the Village of Libertyville's 2011 Pavement Rehabilitation Program, ComEd has begun preparations for the reconstruction of Dymond Road between Illinois Route 176 and Crane Boulevard, according to a press release.

The work includes the relocation of utility poles along Dymond Road, as well as tree trimming in that area, and could require the temporary closure of the Dymond Road entrance to the parking lot.

As part of the Dymond Road project three streetlights will be installed at intersections of the road, and is expected to cost to village around $10,000.
