Van Doren Shaw Home Back on the Market

The 9,000-square-foot Lake Forest mansion has dropped its price by $500,000.

It’s certainly not cheap, but it is cheaper.

A Howard Van Doren Shaw-designed Lake Forest home is back on the market for $3.495 million, according to Curbed Chicago, which is half a million less than its original asking price when it was listed two years ago.

The arts and craft-style home has 9,350 square feet, seven bedrooms, six bathrooms and five woodburning fireplaces, according to a previous Curbed article.
