D128 Students Score Big at State Championships
Congratulations to Libertyville and Vernon Hills High School students who excelled in math and music at recent state competitions. Way to represent!
Students from Libertyville High School and Vernon Hills High School scored big at Saturday's Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics (ICTM) State Math Contest Finals at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
The LHS team took first place in its division while the VHHS team placed second.
In fine arts, the LHS Wind Ensemble and the VHHS Wind Ensemble were each named Honor Band in their divisions at the Illinois SuperState Concert Band Festival, also held at the University of Illinois.
