Highland Middle School Concert Choir to Participate in LHS Choral Festival

The festival will be held Oct. 17.

The Highland Middle School Concert Choir will perform in the Libertyville High School Choral Fall Festival at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 17.

This is the 34th year the concert has been held, said Highland music teacher William Spakowski. Choirs from the Libertyville High School, Rondout  and Oak Grove middle schools also will perform.

Songs being performed by middle school students include “A Joyful Song” by Mary Lynn Lightfoot, and "Shut De Do" arranged by Fettke & Grassi.

Tickets cost $3 for adults and $1 for students and senior citizens. Tickets may be bought in advance through a Highland choral student or at the door the night of the performance.

Concert Choir is a group of seventh and eighth grade students from Highland Middle School. This year’s Concert Choir members include: Prachi Arans, Nathan Charles, Kathleen Connell, Hannah Danguisin, Sadie Eyre, Crichton Farrell, Julia Forrest, Olivia Gauvin, Leah Hartung, Alexandria Hibbard-Brown, Ryan Hunt, Madison Kerber, Ally Kline, Alison Krawczyk, Ally Kunkel, George Legan, Anna Legutki, Jasmine McClendon, Colin Miller, Jack Miller, Sophie Moore, Phillip Nauman, Will Neason, Jenna Ocheltree, Amanda Page, Sophie Richardson, Margaret Rogin, Ian Rosen-Rich, Mariel Sebby, Katherine Stahnke, Nora Stith, Sarah Stith, Gina Sylvester, Sarah Townsend and Dejah Washington.
