Libertyville Boys Cross Country Team Donates $1,600 to Nonprofit

The team donated money to Semper Fi Fund, a nonprofit that provides immediate financial support for injured and critically ill members of the U.S. armed forces and their families.

raised $1,600 for the Semper Fi Fund by selling cookie dough with the help of NFP Sports fundraising. Top fundraisers were Alex Zoellick and Tyler Chen. 

Following a seven-year team tradition, the team members elected to give half their proceeds to charity, and this year they selected the Semper Fi Fund

The Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund is a nonprofit set up to provide immediate financial support for injured and critically ill members of the U.S. armed forces and their families. The Semper Fi Fund provides support in a variety of ways, including: service member and family support, specialized and adaptive equipment, adaptive housing, adaptive transportation, education and career transition assistance and therapeutic arts.
