Libertyville High School hosts Fall Sports Awards Ceremony

More than 1,000 people attended Libertyville High School's Fall Athletic Awards Ceremony.

On Nov. 17, Libertyville High School held its annual Fall Athletics Awards Ceremony.

The event honored the athletic and academic accomplishments of those who participated, and excelled in the following sports: Cheerleading, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Poms, Boys Soccer, Girls Swimming and Diving, Girls Tennis and Girls Volleyball.

Over 725 students took part in a fall sport at the school. Among the accomplishments of Libertyville High School's student athletes were the following:

  • 76 LHS athletes were named North Suburban Conference (NSC) All-Academic
  • There were 13 individual state qualifiers
  • 13 LHS athletes were named NSC All-Conference
  • 33 LHS athletes were NSC medalists
  • 5 LHS athletes were All-Conference, Honorable Mention
  • Boys soccer finished 2nd place in state
  • Girls cross-country, girls golf and girls volleyball all won regional championships

The North Suburban Conference All-Academic Awards honors student athletes who maintained outstanding grade point averages while playing a sport.
