Students Make Dean's List at Butler

The following Libertyville residents were among over 800 students from Butler University who made the Dean's List for the fall semester of the 2012-2013 academic year:

Kimberly Busic, majoring in Music Education

Stephanie Hanagan, majoring in Pre-Pharmacy

Meghan Toth, majoring in Pharmacy

Kevin Wolf, majoring in Mathematics

Degree-seeking undergraduate students at Butler who carry at least 12 academic hours in a given semester are eligible for the Dean's List in the college in which they are enrolled. Students on the list are in the top 20 percent of their college, as determined by the semester grade point average of all eligible students in each college.

Covek Graduates from Butler

Michael Covek, a Marketing major and a resident of Libertyville, was one of 106 graduates to participate in Butler University's 2012 Winter Commencement on Dec. 16.

Those receiving diplomas included 29 in the College of Business, 28 in the College of Education, 25 graduates in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, 10 in the Jordan College of the Arts, eight in the College of Communication, and four in the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
