Julia Russo Named to Dean's List

Brevard College in Brevard, North Carolina has named Julia Russo of Libertyville to the Dean's List for the fall semester of the 2012-2013 academic year.

To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a 3.50 grade point average or higher for the semester.

Kasey Michel Named to University of Evansville Dean's List

Kasey Michel of Libertyville has achieved a place on the University of Evansville Dean's List for academic achievements during the Fall Semester 2012. Michel is majoring in Neuroscience.

To make the Dean's List, a student at UE must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

"At the University of Evansville, motivated students such as Kasey Michel experience a challenging and collaborative learning environment and thrive under the guidance of talented faculty," said UE President Thomas A. Kazee. "Earning a place on the Dean's List shows a strong commitment to academic success, and students and their families should be very proud of this accomplishment."

Libertyville Native Featured in Marquette's Christmas Video

Emilie Teitz a freshman undeclared major in the College of Engineering is a member of Marquette University's Gospel Choir, which was featured in Marquette's annual Christmas video.

The Gospel Choir's rendition of "Amazing Grace" was featured in a video that was sent out to all Marquette community members and in radio and television advertisements in the Milwaukee area. The song is available on iTunes and other audio retailers for 99 cents and all proceeds benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee.
