Cusek, Hobson Named to Dean's List at UW-Whitewater
The following students from Libertyville have been named to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Dean's List for the fall semester of 2012.
- Clay Cusek
- Cassandra Hobson, who graduated from UW-Whitewater in Dec. 2012.
These students have demonstrated their academic abilities by receiving a grade point average of 3.4 or above in a single semester.
"We are very proud of all our students on the Dean's List," said Beverly Kopper, provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs. "The Dean's List signifies academic excellence on our campus, and we pride ourselves on attracting those types of highly motivated students."
Busse, Whartnaby Named to Bethel University Dean's List
The following students from Libertyville have been named to the Dean's List for academic excellence for the fall 2012 semester at Bethel University, St. Paul, Minn.:
- Ariana Busse, a senior, is the daughter of Ed and Kat Busse.
- Michael Whartnaby, a senior, is the son of Ed and Beth Whartnaby.
The Dean's List honors students who achieve an outstanding scholastic record during a semester with a grade point average of 3.6 or greater.

Doan Named to University of Nebraska-Lincoln Dean's List
Faith Lieu Phuoc Doan of Libertyville was named to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Deans' List/Honor Roll for the fall semester of the 2012-13 academic year.
Doan is a sophomore dietetics major in the College of Education and Human Sciences .
Qualification for the Deans' List varies among the eight undergraduate colleges and the Honor Roll for the Division of General Studies. Listed below are the minimum grade-point averages on a 4-point scale (4.0 equals A) for each entity and the name of its respective dean. All qualifying grade-point averages are based on a minimum of 12 or more graded semester hours. Students can be on the Dean's List for more than one college.
