Libertyville Residents Perform in 'Christmas at Augustana' Concerts

Congratulations to these students!

Augustana College presented its fifth annual Christmas at Augustana holiday concert on Friday, Nov. 30, and Saturday, Dec. 1. More than 300 students in the college's choirs, brass ensemble and orchestra joined together to share music in two sold-out shows.

These students from Libertyville participated in the concert:

Alyssa Dahlke, a junior majoring in psychology.

Anna Groebe, a senior majoring in classics and religion.

Rachel Hastings, a senior majoring in music education instrumental.

Brianna Hays, a sophomore majoring in communication sciences and disorders.

Beth Malecha, a senior majoring in chemistry. She also performed in the Handel Oratorio Society 132nd-anniversary performance of Handel's Messiah Dec. 8 and 9.

Christmas at Augustana is one of a series of performances planned for the season. The Handel Oratorio Society, performed Handel's Messiah and the Augustana Chamber Singers and the Office of Campus Ministries presented Lessons and Carols on Thursday, Dec. 13.
