Powder Puff Game, Parade Planned for LHS Homecoming

The Libertyville High School Homecoming festivities will begin Sept. 20.

It's Homecoming Week at Libertyville High School!

Check out all of the fun events coming up this week—and don't forget to take a walk through downtown to see the windows decorated by students!

Sept. 20: Homecoming Powder Puff game at 6:30 p.m. in the stadium. Tickets are just $3 and are available at the gates. Proceeds from the Powder Puff game will benefit the WISH dinner for needy Lake County.

Sept. 21: Homecoming Assembly at 1:50 p.m. in the main gym for students.

Sept. 21: The Homecoming football games against Mundelein will start with the sophomore game at 5 p.m., followed by the varsity game at 7:30 p.m.

Sept. 22: Homecoming Parade at 9:30 a.m. in downtown Libertyville. This year's theme is "LHS … The Magic Kingdom." The parade line-up will start at 8:45 a.m. at the Libertyville Train Station, and the parade will travel south on Milwaukee Avenue and then west on Route 176, ending at Libertyville High School.

Sept. 22: The Homecoming dance will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the main gym.
