Get ready Chicago Blackhawks fans!
The Libertyville Sports Complex will host its third annual "Roadwatch Party" on April 9 to give hockey fans a home game experience that's as close to being at the United Center as possible, reported the Daily Herald.
Hundreds of fans dressed in Blackhawks gear are expected to turn out to watch the game against the Minnesota Wild on a big screen TV from bleachers and picnic tables set up on the sports complex's basketball court.
Advance registration is now being accepted for just 500 seats. Tickets are $10 per person and are available by calling (847) 918-7275 or at the front desk of the Libertyville Sports Complex.
Doors open at 6 p.m. for pre-game festivities. The game begins at 7 p.m.
The event will also include special appearances from Blackhawks's mascot "Tommy Hawk," the "Ice Crew Girls" and a team ambassador. For the past two years, it has been Hall of Famer Denis Savard, reported the Daily Herald.
Jim Cornelison will also perform the National Anthem.
