Chicago Bears Tickets Among Priciest in the NFL

At $282 apiece, tickets for Chicago Bears games are the second most expensive in the NFL, according to a SeatGeek analysis of 2013 resale prices.
The most expensive ticket honor goes to the New York Giants, where home game tickets sell for $292, on average. The Green Bay Packers rank fourth, with resold tickets averaging $245. The average ticket price for a Packers game has increased by 10 percent in the last two years, reports 24/7 Wall St.
The secondary ticket market takes place on various websites, including SeatGeek, StubHub, eBay and TicketNetwork, according to 24/7 Wall St. Perennial playoff contenders, recent success and cost of living are major factors in the resale pricing of tickets.

Two of the 10 most expensive games scheduled this year for attendees include games of the Bears against Dallas and New York this fall. The average secondary-market ticket price for both games—to be played at the Bears’ home stadium Soldier Field—is more than $300. The stadium, which underwent extensive renovations in 2003, seats more than 60,000 people and regularly sells out.
