Birds of Winter

Explore McDonald Woods and search for the hardy birds that stay in Lake County during the cold winter months. Discover the adaptations that enable the birds to survive. We hope to find crows, chickadees, woodpeckers along with nuthatches, pine siskins and an owl or two.

This event is for families with children ages 6 and  up. Dress for the weather. Some binoculars will be available, but please bring them if you have them.
