Jumping Dogs Invade Libertyville

Registration begins to enter your pup in Libertyville’s “Big Air Dog” Local Jumping Competition. Your dog can be one of ten local non-professional dogs that run down a 40’ dock and jump into a 27,000 gallon 20 x 40 foot pool.

During Libertyville‘s Dog Days of Summer, ten local dogs will compete in a local competition for prizes and the title of “Libertyville’s Big Air Dog”.  The competition is simple and exciting, the dog with the longest leap off the dock...the BIG AIR DOG - WINS!

Libertyville is again proud to be Host City for an exciting four day event featuring 150 professional DockDogs, competing in the “Big Air Dog Jumping” Road to the National Championship-2011.

Bill Kaiser, owner of Pampered Pup’z and producer of Libertyville’s Dog Days of Summer explains, “This year we have expanded our venue in order to get more local dogs competing in both the Local and National “Big Air Dog Jumping” competition.

Last year so many local dogs wanted to try the “Big Air Jumping” with their dogs, but didn’t know how, so this year we have added an Open Pool Jumping Session in order to give local non-professional dogs a chance to practice and compete.”

The five dogs who receive the most amounts of votes and the top five dogs from the practice jumping session, a total of ten dogs will win a chance to compete for the title of “Libertyville’s Big Air Dog”.
