Come out and join other volunteers and work in the seed nursery at the Rollins Savanna in Grayslake.
Help with weeding, mulching and seed collecting in order to establish plants in the native seed nursery. Volunteers will also help with seed cleaning and greenhouse propagation.
Moderate physical activity will be necessary. Tools and gloves will be supplied. This is a fun opportunity to spend time outside and meet new people who share the same concern for the forest preserves as you do.

Please enter the savanna at the Washington Street entrance. New volunteers, adults, families with children 10 years old and up are welcome. A Volunteer Agreement & Waiver is required. Minors must bring a signed Volunteer Agreement & Waiver.
