Illinois Athletes Headed to Olympics
Let's cheer on Team USA — including these athletes from our state!
Those who watch the Olympics this summer can keep their eyes peeled for athletes who hail from nearby towns.
While no Libertyville or Vernon Hills residents are competing in London this summer, the USA roster includes athletes from Lake Forest, Riverwoods, Winnetka, Crystal Lake and Algonquin, among other Illinois towns.
According to the Team USA website, the 19 Illinois athletes include:
