The Libertyville High School varsity baseball team will take on East High School of St. Charles in the state semifinals.
The game is set for 5 p.m. Friday at Silver Cross Field in Joliet.
LHS defeated Maine South 5-3 in the super-sectionals Monday.
Because the team will be playing in the semifinals during the LHS graduation ceremony, which is set for 7 p.m. Friday at the Sears Centre, the school will hold a special ceremony for the players Thursday afternoon. The ceremony will be held on the baseball field.
