The Libertyville Little League is proud to announce that the Blue Claws have won the summer 2013 AA Championship! The Blue Claws defeated the tireless Muck Dogs in extra innings at Butler Park in Libertyville.
The Libertyville Little League 2013 AA Champion Blue Claws include (left to right, front to back): Brad Odman, Louie Perry, Ed Van Lyssel, Andrew Palmer, Chris Benevides, Jack Willis, Ben Miller, Sam Calsin, Charlie Van Lyssel, TJ Gorman, Henry Calsin, Coach Craig Perry, Coach Steve Palmer, and Manager Scott Van Lyssel.
The Libertyville Little League's summer youth baseball program is designed to maximize boys and girls skill development and enjoyment of the game. Thanks to the generosity of the community and its corporate sponsors, the costs of this year's five-week Libertyville Little League summer program was kept at just $60.
The Libertyville Little League is open to all children -regardless of skill level or physical ability- ages six to eighteen living in Libertyville, Green Oaks, Roundout and the Great Lakes Naval Training Facility.
