'Out to Lunch' Starts June 22

Listen to music and purchase food from local vendors.

Libertyville, it's time to go "Out to Lunch."

MainStreet Libertyville's annual Out to Lunch program, featuring food vendors and entertainment, will start June 22 and will be held each Friday through Aug. 17 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

"It is kind of our mini-Ravinia in Cook Park on a Friday afternoon," said Pam Hume, executive director of MainStreet Libertyville. "It's a great day."

Hume said people come to Cook Park with their blankets and listen to local bands. David Dallison & Friends will kick off the season June 22.

Guests can purchase food from a number of local businesses, including , , , , , , and .

"It's a nice little mix," said Hume.
