IDOT: More Paving to Start This Week on Route 21
The Routes 21/137 project is now 63 percent complete.
Paving is set to start this week on northbound Route 21 from Brookhill Road to the north end of the Routes 21/137 project.
The project is now 63 percent complete, according to the IL Rte 21 and 137 Project website.
According to the website, the weather last week allowed the contractor to complete the paving on Route 137 and on northbound Route 21 from the south end of the project to the Bull Creek bridge.
The pedestrian underpass is nearly complete and should open later this month.
