Karen's Hope a fundraiser to support Gastric Cancer and to honor our friend Karen Prinz

Karen Prinz was a dear friend and mother of three beautiful daughters.  Her life ended way too early on January 1, 2009, after a courageous battle with gastric cancer.  Karen would have celebrated her 50th birthday in July, 2011.  A fundraiser is being held to celebrate Karen's life and to remember other special people in our lives who have, and continue to battle gastric cancer.  The proceeds of this fundraiser will benefit the Gastric Cancer Fund.

The Gastric Cancer Fund is the first organization dedicated to helping people fight gastric cancer.  Through education, research, support and advocacy, the organization is dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by gastric cancer and working with leading researchers to find a cure to this disease.

Donations to Karen's Hope will benefit The Gastric Cancer Fund.  The Gastric Cancer Fund has joined with The V Foundation for Cancer Research, creating a powerful relationship for both organizations to achieve their common goal of fighting cancer.  The Gastric Cancer Fund is administered by the V Foundation and 100% of all net proceeds go directly toward gastric cancer research.  The V Foundation for Cancer Research is in the top two percent of all charities based on its sustained fiscal management, according to Charity Navigator, America's premier evaluator of charities.  The V Foundation's Federal Tax ID number or EIN is:  13-3705951.  All donations are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
