Libertyville Cheerleaders Support Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The cheerleading squads for the Libertyville Boys Club supported the cause through donations and actions.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and the travel cheerleading squads for both the Libertyville Boys Club Lightweight and Heavyweight teams supported the cause. 

The cheerleaders donated money and are sporting pink hair extenstions throughout October.

At a recent game the cheerleaders wore pink hair ribbons and pink ribbon tattoos to coincide with the league's Think Pink weekend.

The team is coached by Matea Panico and directed by Kathryn McClurg and Mary Nelson.

Vickie Dugo, owner of , came to the practice and spent time with the girls who are in fifth through eighth grade.
