Twenty-four teams raised more than $54,000 at the , held June 2-3 at Carmel High School.
According to the event website, the top teams this year were BFC Babes for Birthdays, Hollister Hopefuls and Faithfully Walking for a Cure. The top individual participants were Joyce McGuiggan, Carol Sladek and Patti Bries.
McGuiggan and her husband, Tom, both cancer survivors, served as this year's honorees.
Activities at the Relay for Life included a reception for survivors, themed laps, a dance party and a luminaria ceremony.
