It's going to be a frigidly cold week for the Chicago suburbs.
A high of only -13 degrees is expected Monday in Libertyville with wind chill values as low as -45 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Wind gusts between 20 to 25 mph are in the forecast with gusts as high as 35 mph possible.
A low of -14 is in the forecast Tuesday night with wind chill values as low as -38. Wind gusts between 15 to 20 mph is in the forecast and gusts could reach as high as 30 mph.
On Tuesday, a high of 3 degrees is expected with wind child values as low as -39. Wind gusts around 15 mph are in the forecast with gusts up to 20 mph possible.
On Wednesday, the temps will reach a high around 16 and there is a possibility of snow, according to the NWS.
