Wind Chill Advisory Issued for Lake County

Just how cold will it get tonight? Read on.

The snow has fallen and now comes the cold.

A wind chill advisory has been issued for Lake County from 9 p.m. Thursday until 10 a.m. Friday. According to the National Weather Service in Chicago, wind chill values could reach 15 to 25 degrees below zero, with the forecast low temperature around -9 for Thursday.

The forecast high for Friday is 13 degrees. After a slight warm-up on Saturday with a high of 28 degrees, the second half of the weekend and next week will bring more cold. 

According to the National Weather Service, Sunday should see a high of 13 degrees, but Monday's forecast calls for a high of just -8 and a low of -18. The forecast high for Jan. 7 is -3, with a low of -12.
