Final 'Car Fun on 21' of Season, Farmers Market This Week

Are you looking for something to do this week? 

Maybe you want to stop by the library tonight to learn about Lake County's role in the Civil War? Or perhaps you want to stop by the final Car Fun on 21 of the season on Wednesday?

Lake County and the Civil War

Stop by the Cook Memorial Library at 7 p.m. Sept. 16 to learn about Lake County's role in the Civil War. Lake County Discovery Museum Collections Coordinator Diana Dretske will present letters, diaries and photographs from the museum's Civil War Collections. The program is being offered by the Libertyville-Mundelein Historical Society.

Car Fun on 21

The final Car Fun on 21 classic car show of the season will be held from 6-9 p.m. Sept. 18. Vintage cars and trucks 25 years old or older will be featured on Church Street. Entertainment will be provided by the Music Now DJ Group. Fine's and Culvers will sell food at the event.

Farmers Market

Libertyville's popular Farmers Market will continue from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 19. The event will be held on Church Street.
