UPDATE: About 50 Breweries Coming to Second Grayslake Brewfest
The Grayslake Craft Beerfest will be held on May 31.
About 50 breweries have signed up so far for the second Grayslake Craft Beerfest hosted by the Grayslake Area Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
The names of the breweries that will be at this year's festival is expected to be released this week, according to Mike Pruitt, an organizer with the Grayslake Craft Beerfest.
The Beerfest also includes live music and food and runs from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 31, at the Grayslake Festival Grounds on South Whitney Street between Center Street and Park Avenue. There will be a VIP session from noon to 1 p.m.
All net proceeds go toward college scholarships awarded by the Exchange Club of Grayslake and the Grayslake Chamber of Commerce. Tickets can be purchased online or on the day of the festival.
CORRECTION: An earlier version of this article named breweries that would be at this year's festival. That was an error and included names of breweries from last year's festival.
