Economic Forecast Luncheon, "Steel Magnolias" and Outdoor Story Time This Weekend

Economic Forecast Luncheon

The University Center of Lake County will host the 7th Annual Economic Forecast Lake County Luncheon at 11 a.m. Jan. 17. Keynote speaker William Strauss, senior economist with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, will present his forecast for the coming year. Click here for more information.

"Steel Magnolias" 

Encore Theatre will present "Steel Magnolias" Jan. 17-19 at the Libertyville Civic Center. Outdoor Story Time

The Cook Memorial Public Library District will hold an outdoor story time event at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 18 at Wright Woods, located at St. Mary's and Everett Roads. No registration is required for the program, which will include a half-mile walk around the pond, pausing for stories along the way. Click here for more information.
