Holiday Bazaar, Greek Food Festival This Weekend

Greek Food Festival

St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church's Philoptochos Society will hold its annual Fall Food Festival from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 21-22. Items on the menu will include Athenian chicken, roasted leg of lamb, dolmades, pastichio, tiropitas, spanakopitas and plenty of desserts. St. Demetrios is located at 1400 N. O'Plaine Road, Libertyville.

Tip-Off Madness

The new Libertyville High School Wildcats Boys Basketball Association will hold its first event, Tip-Off Madness, Nov. 22. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. at LHS for the event, which will include scrimmages involving freshman, sophomore and varsity basketball players. There will also be shooting contests, along with raffles. Attendees could win items like gift cards or even a pair of tickets to a Chicago Bulls game.

Holiday Bazaar

The University of Illinois Extension Foundation will host a Holiday Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 23 at 100 S. Highway 45, Grayslake. The event will feature vendors and crafts.
