Holiday Hoedown, Christkindlmarket and a Farmers Market This Weekend
What are your plans for the weekend?
You may be busy gearing up for the holidays, but should you decide to take a break, you might want to check out one of these events taking place this weekend.
Holiday Hoedown
An indoor Holiday Hoedown will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 21-29 (except Dec. 24 and 25) at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Grayslake. The festivities will include a Magical Midway with rides and games, Rudolph's Barrel Train, hayrides, a bounce house, entertainment, holiday vendors, and more. Admission to the event is free, but there is a charge for parking: $10 per vehicle, $25 for 15-passenger vans/stretch limos and $50 for school or coach buses. Parking is cash only. Final Farmers Market
The final Grayslake Farmers Market of the year will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 21. For a look at what to expect at the final market, click here.
Christkindlmarket
The Christkindlmarket in Chicago is still open daily through Dec. 24.
