Local Dentist Offering Halloween Candy Buy-Back This Weekend
The program will take place Nov. 1 and 2.
After the children have gone trick-or-treating, what should you do with that overabundance of Halloween candy?
Dr. David Honey will buy back unopened Halloween candy at his Libertyville office from 2-5 p.m. Nov. 1 and 8 a.m. to noon Nov. 2. His office is located at 915 N. Milwaukee Ave. Suite B.
The office will pay $1 per pound, up to 10 lbs, for unopened candy. The candy will then be sent to Operation Gratitude in Van Nuys, CA. The organization will make individual holiday packages for troops overseas.
