When I graduated from LT in 1967 we were told that we were the second best high school in IllinoisRead More (New Trier was number one) and among the top ten nationally. Now New Trier is #15 and LT is #40?!? What has happened in the intervening decades. If the proposal to do away with class rank is any indicator I suspect my alma mater is succumbing more and more to the trendy aspects of modern education and moving away from expecting accomplishment.

LOL @Geneva, I don't think Geneva's are much better.

The idea of buying old bricks, perhaps to be used, among other things, for sidewalks around the newRead More green fields is really a good idea. We have bought bricks at Cook Park and at the football fields. One thing Libertyville does not have is a fountain. I think many of us would contribute to such a plan.
