Lake County Sheriff Mark Curran wants to keep his current position for another term.
After announcing last December that he was considering a bid for attorney general in 2014, Lake County Sheriff Mark Curran, of Libertyville, said he now intends to seek a third term as sheriff, reported the Daily Herald. “I have decided to run for re-election for Lake County Sheriff. I have been entrusted for the past six years with the responsibilities as Sheriff of Lake County.
