Homeowners could expect to pay $16 more on their property tax bills for a home valued at $300,000.
Libertyville Trustees are set to vote on a proposed $6.2 million 2012 tax levy at their Dec. 11 meeting. The village's portion of a resident's property tax bill is about 7 percent. By comparison, Libertyville Elementary District 70 and Community High School District 128 make up 37 percent and 35 percent of the property tax bill, respectively.
