Police Blotter: Drug Charges, Retail Theft

DRUGS A 17-year-old boy was charged with possession of cannabis while police investigated a suspicious vehicle Jan. 20 on the 100 block of Lakeview Parkway. His court date is Feb. 14. Timothy J. Studer, 23, of 308 E. Fawn Lane, Hainesville, was charged with possession of cannabis and speeding on Jan. 23 at Milwaukee Avenue and Townline Road. He was given a $120 cash bond. His court date was not available. IDENTITY THEFT Michael J. Pearson, 22, of 621 W. 61st Place, #2, Chicago, was charged with identity theft, forgery and possession of false identification on Jan. 24, after police said he opened a line of credit using another person’s information and then used that line of credit to purchase $1,162.62 in merchandise at JC Penney in …
